Start/Sit: Week 13

Start: Trevor Lawrence vs Detroit

Lawrence has been on a hot streak lately, landing as a top 8 QB in 4 of his last 6 outings, and is coming up against a great matchup in Detroit. In Week 12, Lawrence had a day, throwing for 321 yards and three touchdowns, while also throwing a dot on a 2 point conversion to beat the Ravens. Lawrence has been accurate in recent weeks, throwing 0 interceptions in the past 3 weeks. Lawrence is an elite QB1 option against the Lions.

Sit: Deshaun Watson vs Houston

Watson's debut has been the topic of many fans discussions recently, but it is hard to expect him to do a lot in his first outing as a Brown. Not only was Watsons performance in the preseason underwhelming, the Texans have been a top 5 QB defense over the past 5 weeks. Houston tends to be a favorable matchup for RBs, to which the Browns have the answer in Nick Chubb. Expect Watson to have an underwhelming performance in his Cleveland debut.

Start: David Montgomery vs Green Bay

Montgomery put up solid numbers last week with Khalil Herbert out, but fell victim to a bad offensive outing without Justin Fields. Fields status is uncertain, but the Bears should lean heavily on Montgomery again in a matchup versus the Packers. The last time these teams met, Montgomery ended with 122 yards. Montgomery should be the focal point of this offense, and should be able to find lanes against the Packers defense.

Sit: Isiah Pacheco vs Cincinatti

Pacheco has been solid in his past couple weeks, ending with over 75 yards off scrimmage in the previous two weeks. Pacheco comes up in a matchup against the Bengals who have been solid against the run this year. Pacheco has not been used in the receiving game often, which weakens his upside as a rusher. Pacheco is the clear-cut lead back in a high scoring offense, but likely only has flex upside in a week 13 matchup.

Start: Garrett Wilson vs Minnesota

Wilson saw his fantasy value revive with Twitter legend Mike White taking the helm in New York. Wilson saw 8 targets in the season debut for White, and took 5 of those for 95 yards and 2 touchdowns. Wilson should continue to thrive with White in charge, and can make the most of his targets, even against a solid Minnesota defense.

Sit: Brandon Aiyuk vs Miami

Auyik saw 8 targets last week, and was able to turn it into 5 receptions for 65 yards in a solid day against the Saints. Aiyuk will struggle to lead the team in targets and yards again in a matchup against Miami. Aiyuk could end up being the benefactor in a high scoring game, but I expect CMC and Deebo to be the highlight real players in a offensive affair in Week 13.

Start: Gerald Everett vs Las Vegas

Everett did next to nothing with 4 targets in Week 12, but could see a better matchup against the Raiders in Week 13. The Raiders allow an average of 11.4 points to TEs, which ranked 7th in most points allowed to the position. Everett should be able to make the most of the matchup in a high powered offense.

Sit: Cole Kmet vs Green Bay

Kmet struggled to find traction in Week 12 without Justin Fields, and with Fields health in question, it is hard to expect a big bounce back. Even in a good matchup against Green Bay, Kmet should not expect consistent usage with Simeon at QB. If Justin Fields returns, then Kmet can be played, but it might be safer with him out of the lineup.

Start: Seattle vs Los Angeles Rams

Seattle has been ranked 8th in fantasy scoring, and comes into Week 13 with a great matchup against the broken Rams offense. Matt Stafford is still injured, and the Rams are without their premier offensive player in Cooper Kupp. Seattle should have no problem scoring well in Week 13, and even face the Panthers a week after, making them a big pick up option.

Sit: San Fransisco vs Miami

San Fran is typically considered a top tier defense, but may be better left on the bench in what should be a high scoring affair against Miami. The Dolphins are on a tear offensively, with Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill putting up great (All-Pro) numbers. Miami is a tough matchup, even for the best of them. Spend a little cash on a stream defense instead of playing the 49ers in a highly explosive offensive battle.
